Red Line Project in Villa Di Maser.....Casa Di Vita.....15-Jun-19 till 15-Oct-19

Updated: Jul 20, 2019

About the exhibition in Villa Di Maser.

——————————

The exhibition is taking place in Villa Di Maser, about 60 km north west of Venice. It was curated by Simonetta Gorreri and Giovanna Poggi Marchesi.

The Villa was designed in 1550 by Andrea Palladio.

In my environmental art the Red Line is a metaphor for a blood vein of Mother Nature. I’m drawing with it in locations around the world devastated by global warming and MGAS (Mans Greed, Arrogance and Stupidity)).

The exhibition, Casa Di Vita, is taking place in Villa Di Maser,

The Red Line project is a memorial to the 14,000,000 trees that collapsed and 17 people that got killed by the Vaia storm in the Cansiglio forest (about 80 Km north of Venice). It was the most powerful storm in the history of Italy about 8 months ago. All because of global warming.

The structures holding the Red Line are made of aluminum water pipes from the abandoned farm next door.

These chaotic structures are representing the industrial society we created. The brunches and roots on top are from the Cansiglio forest and representing the devastated environments and destroyed nature around the world because of global warming. The Red Line is saying.... enough is enough!!!
